im looking for a gun. i was thinking about buying an asahi or kokusai/coksai. I was thinking of putting a lrb or scs for increased range.

Good luck finding any asahi guns. You'll be lucky enough to find one used, but I have only seen one used asahi gun for sale, and that was over a year ago.

I'm probably the one who knows the most about thie stuff around here, but I can't really offer you any help in the classic airsoft part of the sport.

Is there a particular reason you dont want some current high end brands such as KWA, G&G, etc? If no, definitly look into some of those.
