If my parents say I can, I want to get a full metal G&G gun. I've narrowed it down to these two. I'm not sure which one I want though. I'm used to a G36C, so I'm afraid the Soc might feel a little big. (I'm about 5-6)

I've heard that the stock and such wobbles on the M4, but the M14 is totally solid.

Do you guys have any experience with either one of these guns?

I have the G&G M4 with LE stock and its real solid. Dont know who told you that.

The SOC16 isn't a big gun at all. I think it's a bit longer then my AK, but I don't remember.

I think I'm going to go with the socom

I like it. The iron sights really surprized me because they actualy work. I find the paint scraches really easy and the hop-up is a little twichy. It does not need to be replaced just reajusted every once in a while. Other than that the gun is great.

To give you an idea of how far it shoots I am taking it to the football feild at my school soon.

I would go M4, simply because I like the look better, they realyl are both great guns.

Mine is for looks. The M4 with a full stock looks to.... I dont know wierd

I would an m14 over a full stock M4. I agree they look weird, but you cant go wrong with ether gun

same here, if it was a normal M4 i would say go for it but a full stock....just get the M14

And the M14 has more range, along with the fact you can make it into a killer DMR.

I'm more concerned about performance guys. I personally like the full stock M4 if it has an optical attachment.

I think I'm going to go M4 now because I have heard Soc 16 are still hard to handle even though they are shorter than an M14. I rush quite a bit, so I need a maneuverable gun. (we play in the desert) I think I will go M4.

If you play in the desert.....isn't that bare land?

No.........not like Africa desert. Like Arizona desert. We have trees and bushes and such.

I play at a heavily wooded field....and a majority use M14's. I think it's fine.
