The first one will not work without the rail that attaches to the bottom. Here is a better view of what you're buying with the second one listed:

Personally I think that bipods are to much of a hassle. Plus if you are actually going to be a sniper it will make you more of a target because there is something protruding from the ground. It is better not to have one to lower your silhouette.
