This story begins yesterday. I was bored, and I realized I still had a full magazine for my M93r that I needed to empty, or else the mag spring would become weak. So, I pop in my battery, and head outside. It was warm outside, about 60 degrees. So, I empty the mag with some full-auto fun. And the next thing I remember I was inside, eating dinner.

Fast-forward to 5 minutes ago. It stormed last night, and it was pouring rain. I head towards the laundry room to get the cat some food, and I glance out the glass door leading outside. And you can pretty much guess what I saw. That's right, my M93r and my battery just sitting out on the patio, collecting rain! So I run outside (still in my pajamas:D ), and grab the gun and the battery, and I'm currently drying them w/ a towel. I've yet to see if the gun still works, it was pretty soaked.

Just thought I'd share a story about my stupidity.

ha i have only done that once with a spring shotgun, thats the one in pieces in my closet

*UPDATE* I just went outside really quick to see if it still fired, and to my relief, it did! I was worried that we wouldn't get the chance to make the firing review for it. This goes to show that not even the rain can beat a TM!

If rain gets in the gun, it is fine. It matters if it gets in the wiring and motor.

Well, I don't think it did, since the gun still shot. So that's a relief.
