| I'm pretty much a novice as far as airsoft is concerned, so whatever I get based on your recommendations will be my first really nice airsoft gun. Again, 40-65 bucks. No more, please. Don't want to spend my whole summer saving for this. Oh yeah, and no pistols please. Thanks.

| well this isnt the best gun to recomend but its the only one I would trust, UTG M87 Shotgun. It costs about $40, or you could look on ebay at ehobbyasia for a spring TM pistol, TM makes the best spring pistols | |

| thanks. also, I was thinking about a tri-shot. any ideas there? I've seen them in the 40-65 dollar range. EDIT:Anyone think a UTG tri-shot would be a good choice? I found it for 65 bucks here. | |

| Possibly CQBer has had a different experience with UTG shotguns than have I, however I would NEVER wish that piece of junk they call an airsoft gun on anyone. (No offense CQBer) If I were you I would get the Well MP7. ((Also known as the R4 I believe) You can find it fairly cheap, and you can see a video of the gun at www.airsoftreports.com | |

| UTG shotguns perform great, but they break VERY quickly.
I suggest the TSD M14, UHC MP5 SD3, or if you want an AEG, the MP7.

| I didnt think the UTG shotguns I have seen have performed well at all. I had a friend using a UTG shotgun, and it was so bad he went back and got a spring pistol to use instead, and it was actually more accurate.
Both my UTG shotguns performed poorly and broke within 2000 rounds.
This is why I recommend the Well MP7. It is an AEG, it comes with a battery and charger, it is fully automatic, performs well and is cheap. Usually about $80, but I am sure you can find it cheaper. I would not wast my money on a spring gun. AEGs are the way to go, even if you have to go with a well.

| I say get the UHC MP5SD3. It was my first spring rifle, and it performed great, and was very durable. | |

| I believe the TSD M14 will match your price; they're great...heavy, long and a little rough to handle but they are great weapons. | |

| Its ok but I wouldn't reccomend it the scope is bad for night games and isnt all that good for day game. It can also be a pain to pull the bolt back it I would reccomend the TSD M14. | |
